On March 5, 2013, PRAIS organized for Amway Romania a public debate in partnership with GfK Romania, AmCham Romania, Junior Achievement Romania, AIESEC Romania Association. During the event the results of "Entrepreneurship in Romania in 2012 and entrepreneurship in Europe" perception and interpretation study were presented. The study was conducted by GfK Nürnberg Germany Research Company and Center for Entrepreneurship in Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 16 European countries: Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine, at the initiative of Amway Europe. The report reflected Romanians’ positive perceptions about entrepreneurship in the current economic climate and their attitude towards entrepreneurship which is in line with the Europeans. The project, supported by Amway Europe since 2008, is unique in terms of size and frequency, Romania being for the first time included in this comprehensive study. The event was attended by guests from the U.S. Embassy, the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection for the Elderly, young students, media representatives, and over 67 media published materials appeared relating to this study .
